Over many years of practice I have had the privilege of helping people from a range of backgrounds explore their personal issues.

I feel that the therapeutic relationship is key to helping my clients, so I offer a professional, safe, confidential space in which my clients can share their concerns.

The counselling relationship is unique to any other. No other situation allows focused time and space for you to discuss your thoughts and feelings in the same way. This allows for deeper work to be done, and offers you the opportunity to build a clearer understanding not only of yourself but others too.

What is Psychodynamic Counselling?
Time Limited Counselling
Open Ended Counselling

The aim of Psychodynamic Counselling is about developing a greater understanding of ourselves. By thinking about experiences and relationships throughout our lives we might be able to recognise links or triggers that make sense of our current, behaviour, thoughts and feelings.

Within Time Limited counselling a focus will be discussed within the initial meeting and a set number of sessions will be agreed between 12-24 weeks.

With open ended counselling the end date is not decided at the beginning and instead will be discussed when you feel ready to work towards an end.

Within our initial session we might both decide that open ended counselling will be better suited to you. This will enable you to work through your issues in your own time.

Fee's for face to face and Video call
The Initial Session Fee is
£60 for a 50 minute session.
Within this session we can discuss what has bought you to counselling.
Ongoing session fee's are from £60 (per 50 minute session) on a weekly basis.
I can offer a limited number of reduced fee's so please feel free to contact me so we can discuss and arrive at a fee that suits your budget.

As a registered Member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (Accredited) I ensure to follow its ethical guidelines. I therefore am fully insured, receive regular supervision and attend Continued Professional Development workshops and training.

You might be wondering if counselling will be able to help you.

It is only natural to feel daunted and unsure of what to expect.

I take a non-judgemental and open approach, from which I can help you to think about what has bought you to counselling.

Within the initial session you will be able to get a better idea of what to expect and then make a decision as to whether counselling is something you want to try.

Feel free to contact me by email with any questions you may have and I will be very happy to help you.
